H.J.C. Brown

British Lions Rugby International & Great Britain Olympian

Harold John Catleugh Brown had the distinction of representing Great Britain in two major sports. In 1962 he toured South Africa with the British Lions (Rugby Union) and in 1968 he was a member of the Great Britain Winter Olympics Team (4 Man Bobsleigh). But there was more to the life than sport for this pocket powerhouse. He was a man of many talents which included becoming an expedition leader, a parachute jumping instructor, a property developer and a family man.
